An early morning house fire left a family of nine displaced after causing an estimated $100,000 of damages to the home in Ogden.

Ogden City Fire Department and North View Fire District responded at 1:11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, to the single-family home at 518 North St.

According to a press release, two adults, seven children and the family’s pets safely got out of the home before firefighters arrived.

“Upon arrival, crews quickly made entry and extinguished the fire,” according to a press release from Eric Bauman, Ogden’s deputy fire chief. “The cause of the fire has not been determined and is under investigation by the office of the Ogden City Fire Department Fire Marshal.”

Twenty firefighters, three fire engines, one ladder truck, one ambulance, one paramedic rescue team, a battalion chief and a deputy fire marshal responded to the incident.

No injuries to firefighters or occupants were reported.
